We’re Emily and Austin, a husband-and-wife photography team based in North Georgia, offering wedding, engagement, family, maternity, and lifestyle photography across North Georgia and the Augusta area. With over 15 years of combined experience behind the camera, photography has always been woven into our lives, long before it became a business.

Ironically, photography is also how we met. Emily first photographed Austin’s pride and joy, his Mustang, and nearly ten years later, here we are building a life and business together. Over the years, our work grew organically through word-of-mouth and recommendations, but timing never quite aligned to take the leap. In the last six months, after countless porch conversations and creative brainstorming sessions, Moss & Moon Co. finally came to life.

Our name is inspired by the things that ground us most: nature, stillness, and the quiet magic found in everyday moments. Emily grew up just twenty minutes from Amicalola Falls, surrounded by the North Georgia mountains. That deep-rooted love for the woods, the moss, and the moon still shapes our work today. Austin brings his own creative eye and calm presence, shaped by his roots in the Augusta area, where we also frequently work.

We offer a customized style experience, working fluidly between moody, light and airy, and classic edits to best reflect you. Our approach is storytelling-driven, focused on emotion, connection, and authenticity, while creating a fun, relaxed environment where you feel comfortable being fully yourself.

When we’re not behind the camera, you’ll likely find us at home with our four cats, traveling whenever we can, reading or gaming together, or sitting on the porch listening to birds and soaking in the quiet beauty of nature.
